This guide includes unboxing, device setup, Ledger Live installation, account management, security best practices, and troubleshooting tips.

Step 1 — Unboxing Your Ledger Device

Begin by carefully inspecting the Ledger package. Ensure it contains:

  • Ledger hardware wallet (Nano S, Nano S Plus, or Nano X)
  • USB cable for connecting the device to computer
  • Recovery sheet for 24-word recovery phrase
  • Instruction booklet for quick setup

Do not use the device if packaging appears tampered with. Only trust official factory-sealed Ledger devices.
